Snow Feast

snow

The benevolent sky conjures

a heavenly feast for the empty earth,

scattering snow on the lonely bench

drenching the eager tree,

loading trucks playfully,

tossing thin crusts on surprised travellers

and coloring the wet mud,

thus making a creative pattern

of white amongst dark brown

  1. Ooo fabulous imagery, conjures memories for me…so wonderful, beautiful writing here! No snow here where I live, but I can remember so many fabulous moments in white, wintry wilderness from the North, where I used to live…ah grand. Thank you for this, it evokes such contentment. Groovy. And a happy stupendous New Year to you,
