The tired sky stared at the earth
having nothing to give
Bereft of energy
and spirit
The warmth of the earth
turned into a burn
The sun pierced the land
cutting it to dry pieces
Unable to bear the crushing weight
of so many beings
the earth shook
and erupted one day,
which the world called earthquake
The sky hid behind clouds
too powerless to help
the trembling earth
The earth too is powerless. A truthful and well worded poem!
yes, in many ways the earth is powerless. Thank you so much for commenting:)
If you put Trembling Earth and Colors and Fragrances next to each other they make an interesting comparison = and from both together you get the love and care for nature. I continue to love this poetry you produce so consistently!
Your comments always encourage and motivate me a lot..like your interpretation a lot..Thank you very much!
The pleasure is in reading your well thought-out poetry – quality is wonderful.
Oh, sad…. Very well said…!

Beautiful and very thoughtful. Yes, the things we have forgotten to think and care about… Believe it or not, the sky this morning here does look tired and about to burst in tears.
