I was at ease in the
darkest of nights,
a silent companion
to the sprouting insects
and nameless reptiles
gazing at the ancient branches
as they nodded to the delicate young plants
trust and peace in their countenance
I closed my eyes and mind
to the bristle of ghosts
unnerved by my presence
My feelings calm,
I conveyed my non-interference
let me live in a world of my own
while they dwelled in theirs
Wonderful Expressions !
Amazing feelings shared !
Bitter and true words with A touching Soul Effect !

Lol. Let us tell them, anyway.. so that they don’t disturb or scare us:))
human or nonhuman ghosts are not very obedient type, complying type, have tried it with human ghosts to no avail 🙂

You’re welcome, Nightlake!
I really liked this one. Lovely poetry. Your words wrapped around personal disquieting emotions while connecting silently to the soothing sounds and sights of nocturnal nature. Well done.
Hi Penny, Your interpretation is lovely and your comments are meaningful. very happy that you liked this poem:)
Very much! 🙂
Reads a bit like Mr America – and all those mindless heroes from Superman to Batman – then back to reality.
